Roswell - I stopped at the International UFO Museum and Research Center in Roswell, New Mexico the other day to snap some photos like the ones in this blog post, and to see if I could learn anything new about the whole alien phenomenon. After a quick walk through it became obvious I wasn't going to find anything I didn't already know, as I'd already been to the museum several years back and nothing has changed. The difference is this time around I came out much more skeptical and totally convinced that what happened at Roswell was nothing more than a crashed weather balloon the military covered up, using the whole alien scheme as some type of distractive disinformation operation. When looking at all the military research and testing that was going on in New Mexico at the time it makes pretty good sense for the military to distract the public with stories of UFOs and aliens, but at the same time it is really sad they would go through so much trouble just to prevent prying eyes from seeing what they were really doing.
Sure, the alien phenomenon brings scores of visitors to New Mexico each year and probably generates millions of dollars worth of revenue for Roswell, and the state as a whole, but it's unfortunate humans feel such a need to lie to one another. That said, I do believe the disinformation created greater interest in the phenomenon and has led to more research in the field, which may one day lead us humans to discovering real extraterrestrial life, but what happened at Roswell was nothing more than a great big hoax. There's no doubt the alien disinformation campaigns will continue to be used to cover up further military testing of new technologies and to mislead intelligence operatives, researchers, and foreign governments, so we must all be careful as to how much we buy into stories of UFO sightings, abductions, cattle mutilations, and so forth. Discerning the truth from the disinformation is no easy task, and I have probably been duped more times than I know, but how can we not be intrigued by the idea of extraterrestrials visiting our little blue planet? Now that's not to say visitors from other planets haven't visited us or that they don't exist somewhere out there in the universe, still waiting to be discovered, however it's important to be wary of any official disclosure of alien existence and to not take anyone for their word. For those who truly believe they have been contacted I mean no disrespect, but the only way anyone can be certain of "the truth" is to find it for themselves, and I have yet to find such a truth in my lifetime here on earth.
But if you are a contactee and have physical evidence of extraterrestrial existence than I want to know. Stories, research, documentation, and photos are always fun to examine, but I want real hard solid evidence. I want to meet these aliens, to see their crashed UFOs, and to be able to hold any foreign objects they may have brought to this planet myself. I want more than just a he said she said story, so please, if you can bring me something to prove their existence is real, contact me at [email protected] and we will arrange a meeting. Until then I can only believe, and not know. I want to know.
