Another bomb. Drone strike. Death by metal rain. In this war on terror, The soldiers are confused. Not knowing who the enemy is. So any target will do. Doctors without borders. Or even the innocent kids. Those in charge don’t value life the same way. Our time is not as important as theirs. Even on the home-front. Another black victim. A homeless man, A Native American. An Iraq war veteran. All shot dead. By the soldiering police. Fighting their war. Killing innocent people. Because, in their eyes, we aren’t even human. We don’t count as real people, as real life. We’re just, Collateral damage . . . |
